As many of you know, I truly believe that if you eat negative calorie foods that the weight will come off. Again, this is my opinion. But is the negative calorie diet the right weight loss plan for you? This report will cover how the negative calorie diet will affect your body. The report will also cover a list of things you need to do to lose weight.
Why a Negative Calorie Diet for Weight Loss? The problem of obesity and overweight has become very serious in recent years. This is due do poor eating habits and sedentary lifestyle. Best way to tackle obesity and overweight problem is to eat a balanced diet and do some physical exercise daily. These days several diets are available for weight loss. The weight loss diets are made to reduce body fat and weight. Some diets are healthy and some are fad. The fad diets recommend eating only a certain group of foods and eliminating some group of foods from the diet. A good diet provides all the major nutrients including dietary fibers, carbohydrates, proteins, good fats, minerals and vitamins.
The negative calorie diet is based on foods possessing negative calorie effect. Negative calorie foods use more calories to digest than the calorie content of the foods themselves. The additional calories in the process of digestion are taken up from the stored fat in the body. It is therefore natural to consider a diet containing these foods for weight loss. The negative calorie foods include vegetables, fruits, legumes, lentils and beans. It is therefore possible to provide all major nutrients in a negative calorie diet. By eating these foods, you will not feel hungry. If you remain physically active and eat these foods, you will drop pounds permanently.
Note that negative calorie foods and negative calorie diet will not show any magical results if you eat unhealthy foods. Don’t think that you can eat a tin of potato chips in the morning and eat some negative calorie foods in the evening to counter balance the bad effects of chips.
